Block Seminar: during the week prior to the beginning of August classes, visiting CEMS students experience a period of immersion in activities related to Social Entrepreneurship. This immersion begins with an integration weekend, when students travel and visit a local NGO. In 2016, the students went to Paraty, a historical city in Rio de Janeiro. There is also the opportunity to have interaction with social entrepreneurs and social organizations such as Vox Capital and Artemisia. Also, the students engage in field visits to communities in São Paulo such as Capão Redondo, Heliopolis and Jardim Ângela, experiencing the local situation of the communities and meeting with local social entrepreneurs.
